Case study · Antibody discovery, Switzerland
Four people, paper files, and eventually a COVID antibody.
We started with a young antibody discovery company in 2013: four people in the lab, and processes held together by paper and Office files. We built their system step by step, around the way they worked.
When the pandemic arrived, they went from antibody discovery to first patient dosed in seven months, a process that usually takes three to four years. The science was theirs; the organisation underneath it was partly ours. Today they are around three hundred people, and the same system is still the backbone of how they work.
